Welcome to our custom-built family mountain home in Packwood—a special place created for gathering with friends and family and enjoying everything the mountains have to offer, year-round. Located in the peaceful Upper Timberline community, you'll be just 5 minutes from downtown Packwood, less than 15 minutes from Mt. Rainier National Park and approximately 20 minutes from White Pass Ski Area. As you enter the main level, you're greeted by a dramatic great room with soaring vaulted ceilings, exposed solid-wood beams and floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing the surrounding mountains. A real wood-burning fireplace anchors the living room, creating the perfect place to warm up after a day of skiing at White Pass or hiking around Mt. Rainier. The great room opens directly onto an expansive wraparound wood deck with beautiful mountain views and peek-a-boo views of the Cowlitz River. Fire up the Blackstone flat-top grill, enjoy dinner outside as the sun sets behind the mountains, then gather around the fire table for drinks and stargazing. Inside, the fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for family meals, including cookware, pots and pans, utensils, blender, toaster, kettle, pancake griddle, coffee maker and Keurig. The dining table seats 8, with additional seating for 4 at the kitchen island. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS The home features 3 private bedrooms plus a spacious sleeping and game loft: • Primary Suite — Queen bed, main floor, private ensuite full bathroom • Bedroom 2 — Queen bed, lower level, walk-in closet • Bedroom 3 — Queen bed, lower level • Sleeping/Game Loft — 3 twin beds, upstairs The loft is a favorite for kids and families, with a foosball table, TV and game console creating their own mountain hangout. The lower level also has a full bathroom with a double-sink vanity. A convenient half bathroom and laundry room with washer and dryer are located on the main floor. When you're ready for a cozy night in, gather around the wood-burning fireplace, choose from our collection of board games, stream a movie using the Amazon Fire TV Stick, or embrace a little nostalgia with an old favorite on the DVD player. Outside, enjoy the fire pit and make s'mores beneath the stars. Whether you're visiting Packwood for Mt. Rainier hiking, a White Pass ski trip, a family getaway or simply a quiet weekend in the mountains, the cabin is designed to be a place where everyone can slow down and spend time together.

This is a true mountain home surrounded by the natural beauty of the Packwood area. Wildlife, insects, snow, ice and quickly changing mountain weather are all part of the experience, so please plan accordingly for the season. The home has a real wood-burning fireplace as well as an outdoor fire pit and deck fire table. Please enjoy them responsibly and observe any local fire or burn restrictions in effect during your stay. Streaming is available through the Amazon Fire TV Stick. Guests may need to log into their own accounts for services such as Netflix, Hulu and other streaming apps. Wi-Fi is provided, though mountain-area internet can occasionally be less predictable than service in the city. WINTER TRAVEL: Snow and icy conditions are possible in Packwood and especially when traveling toward White Pass Ski Area or Mt. Rainier National Park. We recommend checking weather, road conditions and current Washington traction requirements before traveling during the winter months.

Enjoy easy self check-in with a unique door code provided before your arrival—no keys or in-person check-in required. There is plenty of parking for multiple vehicles in the large half-circle driveway in front of the cabin, making the home especially convenient for families and groups traveling together. From here, you're approximately 5 minutes from downtown Packwood, less than 15 minutes from Mt. Rainier National Park and about 20 minutes from White Pass Ski Area.
